IBM = International Bussiness Machines

IBM is ,amongst other things, the manufactorer of the pSeries servers and the PPC architecture. With the supply of the hardware AIX also develops, maintains and distributes AIX. In order to support AIX system administrators IBM provides a wide range of redbooks[1] covering all features of AIX and related software extensivly.
