HDISKPOWER

A HDISKPOWER is a virtual harddisk presented by a EMC SAN. To use these devices a software package of EMC has to be installed (powermt). When harddisks are assigned they are usually presented through two or more paths resulting in the same harddisk being visible as multiple HDISKs. A HDISKPOWER can be treated just as an ordinary HDISK.
